Privacy notice
In short: we keep your email (and your first name and book ideas, if you share them) so we can tell you when Springlight Books opens. We never sell it. You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete it at any time.
Who we are
Springlight Books is a trade name of Personify Marketing LLC, Hingham, Massachusetts, which runs this website and the early access list.

What we collect
- Your email address.
- If you choose to answer the two optional questions after joining: your first name, and what kind of book you’d like to make (for example, “getting ready for something new” or “just for fun”).
- Where and when you signed up (for example, “business card”, “sign”, “event booth” or “website”), and which version of the sign-up wording you agreed to.
To stop automated spam sign-ups, we also keep a scrambled code made from your device’s IP address for up to 24 hours, then delete it. We never store the IP address itself.
We don’t ask for your phone number, your address or anything about your child, and we don’t want it here. Please don’t send us information about your child through this list. We only ask about a child when a grown-up chooses to make a book.
Why we use it
To email you when ordering opens, and to send occasional updates about Springlight Books. If you tell us what you’d like to make a book about, we use that to understand what families want and to make our updates more useful to you. That’s all. We only email people who signed up for early access.
What we never do
We never sell or rent your details, and we don’t share them with anyone for their own marketing.
Who helps us
- Cloudflare hosts this website and stores the list. Its Turnstile check may process your device’s IP address to confirm you’re a person and not a bot.
- Google (Google Workspace) runs our hello@springlightbooks.com inbox, so it handles any email you send us.
- Our newsletter email provider will be named here once we choose one, before we send any update to the list.
These companies process your details only to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
We keep your details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you and keep only your email address and the date you left, and only so we can honor your choice and never email you again by mistake. If you ask us to delete your details, we delete them.

- Email hello@springlightbooks.com to see, correct or delete what we hold about you.
Children
This list is for adults (18 and over). We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has signed up, email hello@springlightbooks.com and we’ll delete it.
Changes
If we change this notice, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll email the list before it takes effect.
